Awful tragic scenes on BBC just now in what they are calling ‘ the Worlds first climate change induced famine’. However, no mention that in 1970 the population was 6 million, now it’s 26 million.

Yes we must change our ways, be less polluting of course, but a sense of realism please.

Madagascar has 26 million people?

I’m more shocked at that. Where do all the lemurs live?

Live Aid is still a great memory even though over half my lifetime ago. The moving scenes with music from the Cars. All the great performances and the incredible work to highlight the shocking scenes of starvation.

Ethiopia population in 1985 - 41 million. Population today 115 million.
