I don't suffer myself, but was reading a thread on another chat site tonight where lots were recommending Piriton or Night Nurse.

Sometimes I'll take half a 50mg Nytol before food. Usually flat out on the sofa after that. Lol

Give magnesium oil spray a try. Cherry juice can be helpful too.

.

Don't drink caffeine for a few hours before bedtime. Don't go on your phone or watch TV an hour before bed. Try reading a very very boring book.

Try a yin yoga before bed.

That really sucks, it's so debilitating : (

My advice would be to make sure you have good sleep hygiene:

- consistent sleep schedule (will be difficult to begin with)

- a bedtime routine

- exposure to daylight during the day to set your body clock

- limit screen time in the evenings and use blue light filters

- a cool & dark bedroom

- limit caffeine to mornings

To help make you sleepy have a meal with starchy carbs in the evening. A bath or warm shower before bed can also help as the body becomes sleepy when it cools down.

There's also advice on not trying too hard to go to sleep as that will spin you into a vicious circle. Instead get up and do something quiet for half an hour then try again.

Good luck!
