My sleep patterns have been shocking recently so today is a tired day.
This causes my brain to keep me awake by thinking random thoughts. So would call it overthinking
So to stop my brain working too hard let me know what’s on your mind today. Serious or not |

I’ve been planning for about 4 weeks to get my arse in gear and get back to eating properly.
Feel like working loads of hours lately has made me too lazy to get food made and keep making easy excuses.
Need a look in the mirror and kick up the arse |

Our roof is leaking into my daughters room and we can't find / really afford someone to fix it.
Plus christmas is coming up and with 3 kids its going to be very tight, always a scary time for us moneywise.
Aaaaannndddd my stupid social anxiety is back for doing the school run and seeing all the perfectly perfect families stood in the school yard when I feel like a piece of poo parent thats too shy to chat to anyone.
Does anyone fancy some extra stress? Ive got loads going spare if you want it |

Start with just one small meal change a day or one better food choice |

I’m having this very same issue. My brain also seems to just be thinking of random stuff I can’t change but wish I could. Not liking the way I look but not actually caring enough to change blah blah blah. |

Wondering when I'll get the motivation to get back into shape.
I often went for 3 hour walks after work during the summer. Now that it's dark by 5pm I'd rather not. (I don't mind the dark but we're in the middle of nowhere, and I want to enjoy the views!)
Back to home workouts but even the motivation for that has vanished. |

The wheels have been off my diet since yesterday ... bloody Halloween! I feel awful and prefer the feeling of being in control.
Right back on it tomorrow though - this just isn’t worth it. |

I hate the school run and the cliques. Screw the for the pressure they all put themselves under fire the sake of appearances for people they probably don’t even like.

I was just dozing off last night when my mate messaged asking if I was awake. He's been having a bad time so I decided not to ignore it but what he wanted was how to devide up a circle for drawing a poxy chakra. A bit of trigonometry later and I could not get back to sleep. I have a night shift to do now and I'm not sure how to stay awake

Work is keeping me awake most of the time. Too much to do and not a sign of any support from senior management....its a joke. Other than that, quite often I get disrupted by a naughty dream spurred on by a fabulous woman on here |

Been waiting on an estate agent to let me know if I've been successful in my application for a flat. They were supposed to notify me today, called earlier to ask me for more information, said they'd shout me by the end of the day... NADA.
Now I've got to wait until tomorrow I guess. |

Stuff donated for a charity event. I feel awful as it was well meaning, but I did not expect what I was hit in the face with when I opened it and I can still smell it hours later ! |

I read yesterday a top tip for getting back to sleep/ to stop the overthinking.
Say the word "the" in your mind every 2 seconds. There's no emotion attached to the word so it stops your brain racing. |

There’s a lot going on in there at the moment!
I’m tired, flat and ‘meh’ after this weekend. The weather and season shift have added to this, leaving me low which lets the stuff in that I’ve been fighting for the past 2 months.
It affects me in weird and funny ways, how I interact and react and I’m second guessing everything that I’m doing with ‘why?’.
It’s a head full |

My head is struggling. It's mainly thinking "can a human head explode due to pressure build up inside?"
My whole head, face and neck feels like I've been inflated. Does anyone remember Theme Hospital? It feels like I have Bloaty Head |

Are Christmas tights a bit ott?
What cheese to put in an omelette.
Does pink and grey go together?
I really like spiced apple candles.
Do I go to the shop and be forced to make small talk or should I buy rosin online?
Why is my favourite waxer already booked up?
Lots of things OP, my mind tends to be whirring around but I've saved you the full stream of consciousness. I hope your sleeping pattern is sorted soon. |

Try a yin yoga before bed. I quite like the Travis Eliot ones on YouTube. During savasana, if my mind is still werreting, I think to myself 'I wonder what my next thought will be...' and then I wait to see what it is but the chatter eases whilst I'm mindfully relaxing.
Hope that helps. |

Whether to apply for a new job. It would be a career change and would involve shift work and a 45 minute commute each way, neither of those I have ever done before. I'm not sure it would fit in with my life very well but it's a job I think I really would enjoy doing. |
