Sorry to all the decent profile respecting men out there, but the disrespectful little shits have finally worn me down and I've blocked all men from messaging me. I think if I've talked to you in the past we can continue.
Tbh I think if I was a woman getting this hundreds of times a day I'd have left this site long ago. Respect to all the women that stick around! |

I have taken those steps in the past too but then I felt like I was missing out on some decent conversations. We’ve blocked single guys on our couples account for now as I feel your pain with the messages |

Must be something in the air. Noone seems to read my profile about not currently meeting so I've had to lay it down abit thicker. And the single guys who aren't photo veried updating their status as "Appletree.. Message me". No cheers love. One bore after another  |

Messages you don’t want to read are easily skipped past. Never sure why people get so wound up about the messages they receive. Just pick out the ones that interest you. It’s like going to Waitrose and saying you won’t shop there as they sell hundreds of products you never buy.
However it would be nice if there was a way of segregating friends messages from The others |

The last time I checked, tubs of marmite didn’t jump of the shelves and start abusing me when I didn’t take what they had to offer lol
Isn’t always easy to just skip past when you get a barrage of abuse for not responding to a message… some idiots like to take it to a personal level because they can’t handle the rejection, yes there is a block button and yes it gets used, but equally it shouldn’t be the case of constantly having to block people because they feel there entitled and that everyone they message should immediately go and jump on there penis |

Do you think if the site moved to a pay model for blokes with some additional verification process it would cut down on some of the morons?
Currently anyone can sign up and message without even proper verification. Surely if you to some extent had to identify yourself to the admins and even pay a more significant fee it might help? Though I realise muppets will always be muppets.. |

Isn’t always easy to just skip past when you get a barrage of abuse for not responding to a message… some idiots like to take it to a personal level because they can’t handle the rejection, yes there is a block button and yes it gets used, but equally it shouldn’t be the case of constantly having to block people because they feel there entitled and that everyone they message should immediately go and jump on there penis "
We must be lucky on our couples profile as we very rarely get any nasty messages. Loads of boring ones yes we just click the red x or leave unread. We get hundreds of messages every day/week depending on if our photos are showing or we update our stays and never struggle to miss any important ones. And there’s probably less than 10 people in our block list having been here several years. |

I think charging more wouldn’t be fair on the the genuine nice people on here,
Personally I think you should have to be photo verified and maybe ID verified before you can message anyone, that way if you get banned for being a dick, it will stop people just making new accounts as there ID will be banned |

Very true. There's even one freak in my area who every few weeks creates a new profile using the same woman's pictures, and within a few hours after you raise a complaint they are gone. Verification stops all that. |

its getting worse thats for sure and its sad to see i/we only meet guys so rather than block all men i'we do a lot of pre blocking guy i wont meet, rude guys bad status guys racist sexist trolls and on and on but i know its getting worse as im blocking every single day now with what friends are telling me too guys who let them down or rude abusive go on my block list too ....
something has to happen or fab will go pop but i really dont know what the answer is i hide the profile more and more too..

We blocked men within a week of joining Fab… It was the amount of messages received, plus some of the content was just crude.
It’s a shame as I’m sure there are lots of lovely men on the site.

The best thing we ever did was to insist on a face pic with the first message. It reduces the number of messages received and guys are a bit more considered when they've attached their face to their message. |

I've received some very nice messages from guys on forums before, so I am in advance notifying and apologising to those that may try to contact me in the future (and somehow see this) and showing my respect to those that stay on fab after getting abuse for not wanting to fuck a guy.
Most of the time I am a bit silly on here, which is maybe why when in in a light-hearted mood I don't take too kindly to getting called all sorts for not replying or sending a reply to say no.

Another vote here for only being able to send messages of you're photo verified.
Since my wife joined here, the amount of messages has been crazy and they're all along the similar vein. Surely nobody is being successful here sending messages with 'hi. Wanna fuck?' |
