I’m sure that most people have a set of things that they do with regards to preparing for sex; plucking, shaving, preening, washing, scouring, picking out the sexy outfit… all to excite and look our best.
How do you prepare for a social though, is it the same? Is it more of a mental preparation? Is it a case of hoping that they turn up and just focusing on your Costa order?
How do you get yourself ready for a social meet? |

I get dressed. Turn up. I then recheck where I need to be as inevitable I’ve gone to the wrong place. Turn up again. Tuck myself in (don’t be rude, I meant my shirt). Run my fingers through my hair so nobody thinks I am a vagrant, and introduce myself.

I prepare as if I’m about to go on a sex date but I don’t really mentally prepare. We either click or we don’t.
I only ever order tea from costa too. Got that part figured out. |

All depends on the activity for the social and time of day. I’ve turned up in jeans and trainers as going hiking, through to heels (sometimes) and clothes I feel comfortable in for evening drinks. With all though I just treat it as meeting friends, so they take me as I come |

I just dress for the day and the weather. I’ve met people for socials wearing a summer dress, wearing leggings a hoody and sliders, wearing a prison custody officer uniform. A social is just a social. I wouldn’t fuck on the day. I wouldn’t promise anything on the day but sometimes I’d suck the guy off. I haven’t met anyone off here for almost 2 years now though. |

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon |
Depends how I'm feeling on the day and about the person, and what the plan is. Might be jeans and a jumper, could be a dress and heels. Might me completely whacky and go jeans and heels. Because I'm unpredictable like that. I do my best to ensure that it's something not stained from when I've dropped coffee down it though, because I'm totally classy like that.
But I like to wear the sexy undercrackers because it makes me feel better about me and that makes me smile. |

I've kicked myself when a social meet has got sexy and I've been really conscious of an untidy lady garden.. Or even worse unshaved legs if I've told myself 'that'll keep my jeans on' |

I had this and when we were pillow talking he said that he didn't notice it, I guess we are aware more about it than what they are actually concerned about x |

Perhaps that’s the point? It’s about making ourselves feel our best so we feel comfortable? |

"I come looking my roughest
If they can’t handle me at my roughest they don’t deserve me at my bestest "
Yeah this!
(My bestest isn't much of an improvement.) |

"I also have a plan B if they don't turn up. Bit of cake, read the forums, do a bit of shopping. Top tip many years ago from Miss_tress. "
That kind of plan B is a good thing to have.
Personally I like to beat myself with birch twigs whilst reciting “be more likeable”, but it’s a personal preference and what works for you |

I've turned up to 2 different socials for a coffee after work. I don't live in town so it's more convenient. I just say that I'm on my way home from work if they fancy a coffee. It's up to them if they find that acceptable.
The other social was with one of the forum ladies, and I did dress especially and was more nervous for that lol. |

I once put a spare pair of knickers in my pocket for a social, planning to hand them over at the end ( a bit like the Queen with Maundy Money) but I forgot.Sexy social fail!
Now I just make sure I've got my glasses on the right way round and my shoes on the right feet |

Even if I was twatted by a 30ft Birch tree I wouldn't be likeable. |

Me too. It usually involves some sight seeing or a new coffee shop and a treat. |
