Falling down- with films like Romancing the Stone behind him, Michael Doulas can be a pretty cheesy actor, but he and the film are top class.
Also, didn't expect to love Ted and Ted 2 as much as i did |

Stardust. The market scene at the beginning with the dodgy graphics made me think it would be awful. But I love it, it's such a great film |

Bohemian Rhapsody - I thought it would be cloying but I really enjoyed it. The recreation of Live Aid was so damn good.
Blade Runner 2049 & Doctor Sleep - I was scared they would be cash grabs and tarnish the originals but they didn't... Just enhanced them.

Why did you think it would be terrible? |

I loved it, Mrs hated it. It’s quite disturbing but the acting and slow build up make it amazing |

It was basically like watching someone having a mental breakdown. It is so relevant now that we’re highlighting mental health a lot more these days |

Oh definitely. Mine too. Is it wrong that I find it more romantic than many love stories |

Sicario. Great movie and the bridge scene is brilliantly tense |

The Mitchells vs the Machines.
Put it on to watch with the kids only because we couldn't find anything else at the time...not seen it advertised at all.
Turned out to be one of our fave family movies |

Heat, I excepted a half decent crime movie due to the cast. But was surprised that it was much better than a run of the mill good guy, bad guy narrative. |
