I do normal gravy but I slowly fry some red onions and then lay them over mash  |

Fancied a stew today so in the oven I have stewing steak cooking slowly with carrots onions and celery. To accompany which must go on soon is potatoes cauliflower and cabbbage. Sounds like winter food I know. |

Just had a delicious Beef Wellington with goose fat roast potatoes and green beans.....and proud to say I never made a single bit of it.
Took the sleeve off the packets and stuck them in the oven....did boil the kettle for the green beans though. |

Picked up loads of cold roast beef for about 20% of the original price, so I had some of that along with the usual discounted roast chicken bits and pieces I picked up when I did my weekly shop.
I don't have a full meal in the evenings when I am on my own, just whatever snacks in the house will do for me.
