So i saw a clip with Will Smith's wife 'Jada' & Gwyneth Paltrow talking about how Jada finds sex life with will difficult. And they said 'if you love me you should be able to read my mind' haha
Got me wondering when you meet someone/current partner what do you expect/ want from them?
Should they be able to read your mind or is that delusional thinking? |

No one is psychic and it’s ridiculous to expect anyone to know what you’re thinking, let alone criticise them for not knowing!
It’s quite a toxic trait to place the expectation of translating your emotions into your partner. How about you just communicate your needs and thoughts?! |

I’d expect clear and honest communication ahead of anything else. Whilst this is just my own opinion, I think if people just spoke to each other more the world would be a better place….and our sex lives would be better too. |

I think it’s weird as!!! Fair enough I choose people who I know have similar kink so I know will have an overall style I’ll like but to build something you have to have open and honest communication |

"I expect someone to be able to read my mind as the bare minimum. Predicting the weather is always non negotiable. "
Her ladyship keeps telling me she can arrange the weather. I'm starting to think she's lying.

My last relationship lasted 18 years. I believe the reason we were happy for so long was because we grew together.
As the years went by, of course we got to the point where there were times when we knew what the other was thinking or was about to say, but I think that's more about familiarity which comes with living with someone.
Honesty and openness are, in my view, the essential ingredients for any successful relationship. |

Her ladyship tells me I know her too well. I think if you love someone you do learn about them and gain an ability to read them. I think most attentive partners will know when the person they love is upset or happy or horny, it simply requires noticing them (something that becomes increasingly easy to neglect over time) The problem comes when we have feelings we don't know how to raise or confront so hide them from ourselves as well as everyone else. Expecting anyone to know these is a recipe for disaster.

If the mental connection is right, both get what both want ..need.. desire ..without having to ask ...it just happens...both give to each other what both want...need ..desire. |

Yeah I saw that, sets a really bad example to those who might take influence from her words.

People communicate in very different ways, creative people are often quite abstract and changeable and logical people prefer to be more fixed mindset and have things spelled out precisely. I generally expect people I know well, to know what I want better than I do ! |
