"My motorbike wouldn't start at midnight last night to get home from work. 8 mile walk home followed by 4hrs sleep before going back down there in my car at 6 to try and fix it. 2hrs later and I fixed it to he left with the dilema of leave the bike there or leave the car ? Got them in a non metaphorical twist .. squeezed and huffed and puffed and even made an amusing video of it. Heh. I had a fun all sorts quality day
Went for a quick run, walked a lot and made kiddos very happy. And someone else too.

"I nearly had a bad day on Sat with my kids. We were going to The 90's Night in Dublin. I had bought approx. €50 worth of goodies because I thought we might have to queue. We didn't so I gave the lot to a homeless person. Later, I then discovered I lost €100:/ . We ended up having a great night though, probably better than the homeless person, so ....Things are always worse for someone else . We had a day off too but it didn't pan out as we'd hoped. We'd hoped for rest and relaxation. What we got was 19yo son related drama from 9am. My Dad ringing, all confused. Me having a meltdown. We tried to go dress shopping in the Arndale but it appears all dresses are currently 1970s rejects so went away disappointed. Meh. I kinda wish I'd just gone to work.
That sounds draining have a brew and get online shopping! Hope your sons ok.. and dad.. tough times. Make sure you fill your own cup x
