My ex from years back was one of the boys that worked in a Soho video shop. The films sold for £25 per tape. You could "view" then in a private booth with lube and tissues for £10. That was around 1995, hard-core pornography was illegal. The owners of these shops would hire young lads to work there. They got paid well and got commissions. If the shop was raided they had to take the fall for it.

I do wonder if I successfully trashed/wiped all the porn from the VHS tapes in my old room when I flew the roost all those years ago? If not I hope my mum never decides to take a look whats on my old tapes.

I definitely didn't get rid of all the magazines hidden under my drawers. I'd imagine my brother or sister would have yoinked them, but if the mother did end up finding them it's just the circle of life - my first introduction to the wonderful world of pornography was a video my brother found in her bedroom.  |

Haven't watched VHS since DVDs came along.
Had a little sideline in the 90s ordering tapes from Holland to my photographic studio, running off half a dozen copies for a select group of friends/clients & I got to keep the original copies for my collection & enough for a few beers |
