Blocking traffic and being a nuisance to the general public as usual.

First they were gluing their hands, now they're gluing their heads to the road.

I almost pity these people as they're brainwashed by a guy that created the Extinction Rebellion who thinks it's ok to sit on a road and stop an ambulance from taking a dying patient to hospital.

Been watching the videos on YouTube of drivers dragging them off the road.

One of them is gonna be killed soon. They’re almost getting run over as it is.

What you need is fir the police to cover them with itching powder, and then just let them suffer. Either that or spray them with slurry.

Just claim it’s a form of protest ... highlighting the lack of toilets in the middle of motorways or something.

Can then claim that you were forced to do this having exhausted all other avenues, then drink a bottle of water and piss on another one

Oh my god. Watch the latest video on YouTube the one about them being sprayed with ink.

It shows multiple police officers bent down with syringes of solution to dissolve the flow from protesters hands that they have glued to the road, their bare skin. Can see the coppers carefully and gently trying to free their hands. All I can think of is the MONEY and the TIME. Imagine there was some domestic abuse case going on or some serous crime where the police would be needed but instead they’re trying to gently scrape glue off these idiots hands. Personally I’d just rip their hand away. If their skin comes off then that’s their fault for super gluing their hands!

The clowns don't realise holding up mass amounts of traffic and therefore letting their engines idle ,is spewing the exact filth (exhaust fumes) into the ozone that is the cause of their weird crusade in the first place.

It's like going to a library and asking if they have any books.

I reckon they are actually Trump following anti climate change types. They are turning people against the cause they claim to be sticking themselves to tarmac for. Making it an annoyance.

It would be assault if you pissed directly on them, but there's usually a slope on the road. Pissing slightly uphill from them wouldn't be illegal.

Maybe leave them glued to the road instead.... When they need to eat or drink or piss what's going to happen.

Shame we get bogged down in the personal attacks rather than the issue.

The irony of flying 25k people round the world in the middle of a pandemic and an apparently global climate disaster caused by air travel to conclude after 2 weeks we need more bullshit electric cars.... If we insulated our housing stock properly would have a much larger impact than anything that cop 26 will arrive at.

What I am saying is that the troublemakers in the middle of this are there for the fun of disruption rather than the cause itself. They will attach themselves to another cause in due course, they just like causing trouble

There is no question whether it’s true, it’s a matter of record.

Saying ‘this rabble are only making things worse’ makes as much sense as suggesting that adding a teaspoon of water is what causes a river to flood.

They want a reaction and they're getting a reaction. If everyone just bit their tongue for a little bit they'd soon find other ways to disrupt the people they need to disrupt (gov).

More education around climate change is needed but there has to be more incentive too because you won't find adults willingly going to a week long course.

The police need to start doing their job before somebody gets seriously hurt.

Alternatively a quick way to put an end to this would be for the police NOT to attend and leave it to the road users to sort out.

Premature deaths in the capital due to air pollution are about 9,400 and nationally it's about 40,000 pa according to the royal college of Physicians..

So I can see these protesters have a point if we are looking at the issue close to home..

That said I disagree with how they're making their protests..

But not as much as I disagree with some on here who think violence is the answer..

There are people in power at present who want to make all protests unlawful care not if in the future you or I might wish to peacefully protest if the local A&E is moved 20 mile away etc..

They are part of the extinction rebellion? Lot..

Air pollution is one of their causes..

My point being albeit could have simplified it possibly is that we are happy to have the numbers of premature death annually but some want to use violence on people protesting..

Again to reiterate I'm not in agreement with their methods but it's a bigger picture and a problem that has many parts..
