" It wouldn't need to ping your phone. A simple method would be to have a button similar to Messages that says how many replies you have. This could then take you to a page of threads that have replies in them. Then if each thread page could highlight responses better, that would be helpful. Much easier then spinning through all the threads you have posted in, trying to see any responses. | |||

Also, sort out the fucking quote function. Collapsible quotes to do away with the bloody endless scrolling, and people's handles appearing in their quote so we know who said what. Every other forum I have been on the last twenty years has these functions. It's *baffling* that Fab can't manage it. That block would be weird in the forums as you'd see people posting replies to no one. You'd also see their messages in any quotes. Nope. You'd see a little box saying something like "This poster has quoted someone you've blocked", and there's a button you can click to show you the quote if you want to see it. Other forums have been successfully handling this "problem" for at least a decade, if not longer. Fab is the odd forum out here. " Yeah, that could work. These forums are very... unique. | |||

"Few folks have made the same point about an option to not see posts and/or threads posted by users you have blocked I think that would go a long way towards making the forum a nicer place by slowly starving trolls of the oxygen of attention as more and more people are enabled to block and simply ignore them. There have been some genuinely shocking opinions aired recently, and the ability to be blissfully ignorant of (and blind to) such nastiness would be very welcome. That and a drool emoji
