"Alright yorky you smoothy don't wanna upset the gal dem??? "
If you are trying to say that i dont want to upset the girls then?
Then the answer is im not here to judge anyone by the way they look if the want to do all that to make themselfs feel better, then good on them and why would i want to deliberately upset anyone? |

"Sometimes I may use a fake tan as im so pale
As for the rest of the fake bits I don't bother in case things start to fall off on a night out! "
I've had this problem.
I once ended up with a hitler style moustache. I also lost a clip in hair extension, somewhere in manchester, so who knows where that ended up.
I've lost countless false nails in many places and my fake tan can rub off onto sheets.

It does paint a bleak picture of the future, especially considering those 'shaping' pants and bodices on top of all that fakery... 20 years from now we'll all be going to bed with pornstars and waking up to sumo wrestlers... |

"Exactley my point...x"
mine point was more of flippancy than fact i'm afraid
beauty is not a tangible thing, it is moveable and affected by a series of factors, some personal, some cultural
what is attractive to some will not be attractive to all
there are looks both natural and false that are more attractive to a wider cross section than others
there are others that are a definate niche market
no one is attractive to everyone and as such if a person (man or woman) can make themselves feel more confident and look better to boot then good on them
that's not pandering to anyone, that's just common sense

This reminds me of a divorce story in the papers a few years back. An American millionaire was divorcing his beautiful wife after she gave birth to a butt ugly baby. It turns out she wasn't some amazing natural beauty but some one who in his eyes had fallen out of the ugly tree and had hit every branch on the way down. She'd spent tens of thousands on surgery to bag some one rich... He was claiming fraud... |

I have a pair of 'shaping pants' and trust me you can't get those off without your partner knowing. |

I really dont see the problem with a bit of enhancing. I am near enough blue, so I use fake tan on special occasions. My hair doesnt grow past shoulder length so have been known to use extensions. I used to get my nails done every other week, but since no job, I do them myself. I use false eyelashes too. Does that make me a complete fake? No. I just like to boost what I've got. |

Whatever tickles their fancy - au natural or fake - it is at the end of the day all about market forces and supply and demand.
And there is a demand for all sorts - why judge anybody for being one or the other or semi fake? |

Wow, judgemental much? I bet op wouldnt be lucky enough to turn such a woman down!
I do 4 out of the 5 sometimes for a meet (not all the time) never been turned away tho. Funny that - women wouldn't do it if it wasn't what the majority of men wanted ...... |

Do women only do all that because men like it? seriously? I dress,do my hair,do my nails,do my make up because I know how I want to look,if my OH told me that he did'nt like an outfit on me that I felt I looked good in I would keep it on regardless as its about how I feel about myself and not about how anyone thinks I should look like to please them
Have some confidence in yourself because that comment about doing it only to please men sounds like you have none at all |

I'm with you on this one honeypot. If I do go for a full on pampered / dressed up mood it's coz I live the feeling of having done it. Sometimes in the house if I've been out walking ( Which I do a lot) in sweats n walking boots, hair messy as fek and usually with some twigs in it by time I get home not to mention various beasties lol I just love to get in the bath with bubbles n creams etc, full condition of hair, do my nails (as in file n paint them) and put my face on. Nothing to di with a meet or even going out. It just makes me feel nice n girly and washes away my prior scarecrow look lol and most importantly, it makes me feel good! |

If you turned up for a meet with no make up on, hair just washed and left and a pair of jeans they'd moan you hadnt made an effort, you get your nails done, stick some slap on and get a bit of a tan and your fake |

"???????"
You forgot, clothes, jewellery, cars and anything else a person wasn't born with. To add things to style the way you appear to someone isn't fake but its how someone expresses themselves. |
