as the title says, are there any on here? and more importantly, are there any near us( whitby) , just getting back into it after 15 years, need to get fit again after too many beers. so any there? jeff |

I did alot at school up till I was about 25 but in the main did more falling off than climbing...lol
still do a bit of bouldering from time to time and visit local climbing wall occasionally...
Lots of places in Yorkshire to go...enjoy if you do get back to it... |

**sticks hand up** Yeah! climbed all my life since being shown it at the age of 16 by one of the 1953 Everest expedition guys. Still climb a little these days, but nevere regained the heady days of climbing E4 6a in the Dinorwic slate. You just have to look at Northumberland for some cool quiet crags close to you. Climb safe and enjoy, sorry I'm not closer to go do a route together.

both my hands are buggered no grip anymore not that they ever held for long but used to love it and living in cumbria we arnt far away from some good climbs |

"both my hands are buggered no grip anymore not that they ever held for long but used to love it and living in cumbria we arnt far away from some good climbs" still have my 'hang on to anything' grip, shame I don't get to Cumbria as much wouldn't mind hanging on and scaling so cumbrian overhangs and putting my fist jams back to good use |
