Im looking at options for new year with a friend.

Im big into 'trip hop' music, banksy, and craft ales but... have never been to Bristol so this is screaming out at me .im looking at getting away 2 days over NYE either leeds, bristol or bath.... all are hot for micropubs & craft ales.

So... anyone here have recommendations of wheres good to visit in these places?

things to see?

Recommended bars?

i dont like chav places like 'revolution, Wetherspoons, pitcher & piano'

I do like tap rooms, quirky craft bars, micro pubs.

Anyone her likeminded and have recommendations? Thanks, peace

Gloucestershire

Bristol is fantastic.

Lots of small micro breweries - Bristol Beer Factory taproom is great. The Upfest street art festival will still be on too.

Come to Cumbria! Keswick especially - but only if you like dogs as they're allowed in all the bars
