Yknow tea bags were Invented during World War 2? Before that it was just loose tea. Milk was then widely used because it tasted like shit
So I’m told anyway |

Oww, I’ve got feelings you know, milk should always go in first.
It’s down to the fact that china cups were pretty brittle and could not withstand the quick temperature change when boiling water was poured into the cup |

You need water hot enough to brew the bag, milk reduces the temperature too much. |

It's done by poor impoverished people who can't afford a decent bone china tea service (shocking, I know).
Avoid them at all costs they are probably infested with all manner of unspeakable things. |
