Are you a registered organ donor? Do your NOK or friends know what your wishes are?

I've had a card since I was 16 ish.

It makes me very angry that they ask family/ NOK. It's MY body, MY choice.

I'll happily donate mine although can't remember if I've registered or not

my family are aware though. I don't need it once I'm gone so anyone else is welcome to anything they can use.

I’ve opted out. Not sure why I made that choice but I did. Think if anything happens to me I’d like to be left in one piece.

I’m a registered donor and regularly donate blood. I can’t donate Plasma though and only found out about that through Covid plasma trials

I am an organ donor and have been since I was of age to consent and my family and NOK know of my wishes/demands x

I also donate blood as many times as possible per year as I’d rather it go to good use than sit in my body just doing it’s job

I was registered before it was automatic. My nok are fully aware of my wishes at death or if I end up on a machine.

They can take what they like when i kick the bucket....not that there's much worth having, these days! And if they want a donation of my wobbly belly and half my bumcheeks straight away, I'd be very happy to oblige

Yes. It’s on my drivers license and I have a living will which lists donor information and end of life directives

I'm an organ donor and a regular blood donor too. I think everyone would take if they needed so why not give when you don't.

We were in a situation where we were asked about organ donation for one of our children at one point and I found it so hard in the situation to think about so I can understand why people say no !

Had a card since I was 16, gave blood between ages of 17 and 29, unfortunately then I needed transfusions, so can no longer be a blood donor.

Yes, I was registered before the opt out came into effect. NOK know including what I want to happen after my death but I'd like them to do what they felt comfortable with to help with their grieving process. (probably a party!)

This. I’ve opted out too, it just doesn’t sit right with me.

I don’t think I’d be comfortable having a transplant either.
