personally I think that people who call it "action" don't have great sense on what swinging actually is for a whole lot of people....
as a silver site supporter I have my fiver every other month... so 30 quid a year and worth it for the sense of communuty here.... |

we pay £30 a year now so would be cheaper for us but we would paymore if it got rid of the idiots on site not every one branded a time waister is one so if it got rid of idiots then charge more |

you would be right but i have to ask my self if i was paying to spend time sending all these messages to only get the odd reply and even fewer actual meetings would i be bothering waisting my time and monney, Mmm i dont think i would to be honest, i guess being free you stick with it and get lucky once in a while. |

No, we wouldnt but this is because we go through months where we don't play at all for one reason or another and so a yearly fee may not be worth it for us.
But if you needed this place as a social outlet, 25 doesn't seem much. |

Being able to pay per month as and when you want the extra services is great. However free or paying you aren't guaranteed a shag no matter how much you pay, and I'd take exception to anyone saying to me I pay my fiver every month, so no refusing me!  |

Not going to give a _iew on this one way or the other, but would just like to pass on my experience of another site (no names!!) which I was on for about 18 months before Perky and I met. It is 'supposedly' for married people who are looking for a 'bit on the side' - i.e. cheating, and the complete antithesis of what swinging is all about. There were no couples on that site - only male and female profiles. And to all intents and purposes, it was pretty much for straight people. To join, women could register for free. Men had to pay... wait for it..... £129 for the first MONTH! It dropped down over the next 6 months to about £30 a month.
So what difference did that make? Quite simply, I never heard a single complaint from any of the women that the men on there were 'timewasters' or 'just out for a shag'. Most told me that the guys they met were 100% genuine and usually quite financially stable (I won't say well off, cos that certainly doesn't describe me!! Lol!!)
In 18 months, I met somewhere between 50-60 ladies. Didn't sleep with all of them, but certainly had a LOAD of fun and saw a small number 'more than once'...
So... If Fabs was to charge more (which is what I think this thread and the OP was getting at) would it be worth it? If I had NOT had the experience with the other site, I would say no. As I HAVE had the other experience, I would say a definite YES.
If you are going to lay out £129 for the first month you are 'somewhat unlikely' to be a fake, timewaster, after a quick fuck etc etc etc., are you.....???

I was on that site. I thought that if blokes had to pay it would cut out the timewasters and idiots. It didn't. Maybe I was just unlucky.

the site gives voluntary membership...with no restrictions on getting meets i.e being able to _iew profiles and mail.Other sites dont.
£25 a year will sort out fakes,idiots n timewasters???..getta fuckin grip...I paid £50 on my two other fake profiles on another site, and have tonnes of wank material now!!!! |

I would pay, and would pay more if it could possibly get rid of the Jeremy Kyle candidates we occasionally see on here - the 'fancy a shag' first message brigade.
However, I know a lot of members who don't pay for SS as they cannot afford to do so, and are fabulous people!
There are arguments for and against, but it is highly unlikely that we will see a membership fee being charged anywhere near what MA charge! (with ya there Pork!)

We most certainly would, having a ball on here so it would worth. When you compare it to most others, its still way cheaper than most, and although we have only been here a short while, we like to have a laugh with the one liners....or rather S does.....if we get a message with one line, then the reply is exactly that.....one line.....you'd be amazed how well that works

Currenty compared to similar sites FAB offers superb value for money. I don't mind paying £5 a month. The site is improving all the time and can only improve. End of the day it's the users that are key to the success and how individuals use the site and offer feedback, etc. |

It's not just about getting lucky. Its about meeting new people, putting yourself out there. Since joining here i've plucked up the courage to go to a club alone, attend socials, go to a club accompanied, and genuinely met some great people.
Every time I meet or attend a social, "getting lucky" is at the back of my mind. If I meet someone and we decide to play great. But of I meet and its just a coffee and chat then great.
I think those that spend time sending loads of mails in the hope of a reply have the wrong approach.

But whatever you pay still doesn't guarantee 'performance' of a site's members in any respect.
£25 for a year is admittedly very cheap and I think this site would lose revenue at that (so obviously it's not going to happen!), but we still believe that such sites should remain free with the option for extra features that 'enhance the user experience'.

Mixed _iews on this, on the one hand as it's free it's a real serendipity moment when it goes well on the other if high fees were introduced a lot of single women would go elsewhere where it's free. I know another site where it is primarily aimed at couples where the fees are high and most profiles (although very misleading) are indeed genuine.
For single guys a small price to pay for genuine free porn pics to put in the bank!! |

I think that people think that if someone pays to use a site like this them there is more chance of them been genuine.
Sadly, that isnt the case.
Even pic collectors, fakes and general timewasters still have money to spend, and to some, even £30 a month is a small price to pay for the titilation they can get from a site such as this.
We used to be on a pay per month site (and Jo was a mod on there) and there were as many fakes etc on there as on here and as many people moaning about not getting meets etc. Maybe even more so to be honest as some people were always of the opinion that "they must be genuine as they have paid".
We treat everyone as fake until a/we chat on the phone or b/meet as a social. The PV flag, the Meet tick and the SS status are small steps towards that but MK1 Common sense is the best thing to use
