I love London! But I see why many end up leaving, it’s not sustainable in the long run.
In the future I’d love to live somewhere by the sea, but not in the U.K., as it’s shite x |

land of make believe |
I love where I live, the architecture and history of the place is amazing and of course I have the ever changing scenery that is the sea/beach.
I'm near to the countryside too so I have the best of both worlds. |

Sheffield’s a lovely place, even better now I’m getting to know people in the area.
If I could afford it though, I’d return to London, my nieces are growing up and I don’t see them often enough. It would be nice to be near them. |

I spent most of my days in Bertha, well that's what the Ronan's called it....
Nowadays where I am is ok, it's flat..... It doesn't matter where I go, I always appreciate the history and architectural buildings |

Cardiff is OK, live a few miles from city centre, got front garden n large back garden n nice views so can't complain.
Wouldn't mind moving in a few years to the middle of nowhere where the nearest house in atleast 1/2 mile away, that would be paradise for me. |

Wolverhampton's alright. I've seen much worse places.
It's affordable. Has a pretty good mix of people. It's geographically quite small so you can get into the countryside within a few miles. The canals are great to cycle around.
Good transport links. We're not too far from anything. Can get to Glasgow in 4 hours on the train or London in under 2 hours.
It's fairly green for a city. The council are keen to make it greener.
But best of all - it's 300 miles away from my mother-in-law |

I love my little border market town. With Liverpool, Birmingham and Manchester just over an hour away.
It is such a pretty place with fantastic history and beautiful Georgian architecture. Some buildings are centuries old, the oldest being built in 1609.
We have an artisan market on certain days with stall holders selling local produce as well as continental markets and festivals all through the summer.
Not a lot happens here and that is how I like it

I like where we live, I've lived in many different places but this is by far the best, everything is right on our doorstep, the only downside whichever direction we go in there is hills to get out of our road but if thats the only negative! Oh and the potheads that live in the block that hocks up everytime I'm outside, thats not nice hearing that but I can live with it.

Love it here.
320 people live in our town and we live outside of the town in the country side.
We have a bakers that is open 7 til 12.30 daily and a post office open one morning a week so it’s really a rocking place to live.
This is we’re I will die.

I live in a town circa 15 miles outside of Edinburgh. It has its good an bad points like everywhere else. The street I live in isn't great and I know who I do or don't wish to mix with. I'm lucky I live 7 mins drive from a local beach; surrounded by either coastal trails and countryside; and of course not too far from Edinburgh. |

I love where i live its close to everything dearest to me.
I dont like derby city centre but lests face it not many city centers in the uk are very nice.
My tick list was a village without being cut off, walking distance one way to amenities and a good pub and the other way in in the countryside |

Has its good points and it’s bad points
I grew up hear it’s my childhood home village
That’s about the only good point
Bad points is it’s in the middle off nowhere
Also very small so everyone knows everyone’s business |

See, that concept strikes horror into me
I like the anonymity offered by living on the edge of a city
I am polite to my neighbours, but I really don't want to 'know' them or them me |

Nottingham |
I quite like Nottingham. It's very culturally diverse. Not too big and not too small. It has a long and noted history. It has it's good and it's less good areas. A decent nightlife, plenty of employment opportunities.
I've lived in a couple of other cities and it's my favourite. Though I'm biased as I was born here and my family are here. |

I like my town. It's a glorified village really but it has beautiful green areas, some really good restaurants and pubs and everything is kind of within walking distance. And it's affordable (kind of) unlike some areas in Cheshire, I can easily be in Manchester or Liverpool so yes, it's not too bad.
The only thing that would make it better is a Booths. |

Peterborough |
Peterborough is not getting any better.
It's touted by landlords to business owners as a low cost place to hire staff. This is their way of saying the wages are really low, lower than they should be.
We've lost 3 department stores in town over the last few years, not brilliant for the high street.
If you want to see a band or singer that's big, then MK, Cambridge, Leicester, or Nottingham is the nearest place (30 +miles away) |

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe |
There's about 40 houses in the village where I live. Apart from my upstairs neighbour, the nearest neighbours are a 5 min walk away, as that's the time it takes to walk the length of my driveway.
Nearest pub is 2 miles away in the next village and the nearest shop is 5 miles away.
Love living in seclusion! |

The actual town I live in is a shadow of its former self and a bit crap. But people here are still proud of it and its heritage. Not me though I moved here from elsewhere, and still think it's a bit crap. Poor old town |

I live in Hackney, the same place I was born in. It was a ahit hole back in the day. Now it's very hip and artsy which is nice but all those who are from here cannot afford to buy or even rent here anymore. Thank Fuck I have social housing |

You’re obviously going to the wrong bits. There are great places to visit (and live) in Devon and Dorset. |

I love my town, it’s my home town and I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else, we have a river with a quayside and vibrant bars, then miles of beaches, I’m lucky to be here I say xx |

South facing elevated back garden, in a sun strap with panoramic sea views to North Devon, and forest walks to the front, and moonlight bay on bright nights. Squirrels and hedgehogs in the garden, woodpeckers to wake you up in the mornings, with red kites flying overhead, and blue flag beaches, with promenade a walk away to relieve the boredom. Not to mention property at knock down prices, with convenient road and rail links to principle towns and cities. Who would want to live in a shit hole like this???? Slowly though, for some strange reason it's being discovered by the educated few.

No, not really.
I'd prefer to live in Spain somewhere. |

Everyone says I’m lucky to live here but unfortunately it’s deprived, there’s a drug problem, housing problem, it’s a typical seaside town. Lovely in the summer miserable in winter. There’s some beautiful hidden gems amongst it though. So I’m 50/50 I have a love hate relationship with where I live. |

I like where I am, but there are other parts of Liverpool I’d rather live.
But, I’m 15 min drive from the beach, I live by a big forked with gorgeous sunsets, I have great neighbours and my family are close. |

I live in a beautiful small village, nestled between the New Forest and the sea. My nearest city is Southampton and I've been there maybe 8 times in the 20 years I've lived here. Cities smell weird. |
