I bought a pair of vegan Dr Martens back in 1991. Wasn't until years later the penny dropped that company are responsible for the death of millions of animals to get their leather.
But hey, I was naive and stoopid back then. |

Well, capitalism is at it finest.
As a vegan I hate when the name of “vegan” name is advertised like this unless if the revenue is used for charity or anything. |

"Vegan as in plastic… I’d rather they called it faux leather than vegan … as it’s still plastic!!
Not more plastic! That’s really going to help our planet isn’t it?"
Exactly. And apparently the process to make faux leather pollutes a lot!!
But I despise that they are calling it vegan making people think it’s good for the planet |

"Apparently the footballer Paul Pogba has launched a limited edition of vegan football boots at over £200 a throw .

"Over rated footballer with massive ego releases pointless boots that hardly anyone will buy, nothing out of the ordinary."
Pointless boots? Why are boots aimed at vegans (of which there are over 1.5m in the UK alone) that meet their requirements and give them more options in a very limited feels points, exactly?
You might not like him as a footballer, but the idea is sound. |

These were designed with Stella McCartney and use recycled materials like rubber which can help put more spin on the ball. The banana shot being one example which will appeal to vegan footballers. |
