Currently I’m teaching one of my lot to drive. My parents never taught me, I think now I know why

I passed on my second go, how about you?

First for car and motorbike. 2 attempts to get my advanced pass on the bike (I blame a very icy road for running my confidence ) and only managed silver for my RoSPA in the car.

Passed 1st time, also passed my trailer test 1st time. I did have a shitload of lessons though. Getting out and on the roads is the only way to build up the confidence. Fair play for attempting to teach one of your kids! I know I couldn’t do that!

2nd for me.

Only reason I failed my first was because drove down a dual carriageway in the overtaking lane despite there being literally no other car on the road lol

I mean I’m terrified of *the idea of* driving a car. So I just know I’d fuck it up …

And yes, some ladies are born to be driven round #uberismylover

I passed first time with about 11 minors so just scraped it

I usually find those who failed first time are better drivers in the long run though

They do say that don't they more tests more lessons makes a better driver, so I should be amazing lol

2nd time.

I was ready to pass my first but I drove over a stone and the tyre burst on the way back to the test centre, the examiner marked it as a mechanical fault and offered me a free retest. Passed that test with 3 minors

First try! Had some driver training from some of my dads friends in blue, some from the MoD and a couple of hours with an official instructor.. My driving test was an hour long and we managed to drive all of (I think) a mile in rush hour traffic but got the turns in on side roads looking for a clear route. Instructor eventually said "I've seen enough, you've passed"

2nd.

Still mad about the first one. My instructor said his heart sank when I got my examiner as he's a bit of a tit.
