Slightly lighter thread than my last.
In case you hadn't heard, her ladyship is running her first marathon tomorrow. I just want to say how immensely proud I am of her and how much I've enjoyed watching her go from "I don't run, I'm not built to be a runner" to the accomplished and experienced athlete she is now. I do tell her but I know she doesn't really believe it that I find her inspirational, she puts in far more work than I do, is dedicated in a way I can't imagine achieving and the results are showing.
Anyway, you lot mean a lot to her so any messages of encouragement will be well recieved - plus all the attraction she'll get will allow me some rest  .

Aww thank you Mr and thank you everyone for your lovely comments.
I will certainly be trying my best and will be listening to all of the music you all kindly suggested to me and thinking of you all to get me through it.
Someone suggested a cheerleader group to flash me... go for it sexy peeps although I may not finish and come join you

This is so awesome. A huge achievement and I wish her every success in completing it. The training alone is a real accomplishment.
Having ran marathons and ultras I know the physical and mental barriers she must of go through already. Tomorrow is a day to celebrate

She's done it. She has been struggling with sciatica recently and this flared up at mile 10 followed by IT pain and pain from an old injury to a ligament in her toe that later 'popped at mile 20 ish. This all slowed her a little but being the stubborn mare that she is it didn't stop her.
One incredibly proud boyfriend - even if I did get something in both my eyes as she was finishing.
Well done NBVNHW, you're absolutely amazing.
