Depends on the subject, sometimes I’ll just say straight off my thoughts on it without reading past the OP. Other times I might read and not comment at all, just read what has already been said or I’ll respond to a comment already made. |

"Do You ever read the title and the very last message before the whole thing? Just to try and work out whats been said before you read them all? "
I usually only read the title and the last couple of comments |

"Oh and I also only read the full thread if the original post is controversial. Then I rub hands like "this is gonna be good" "
I occasionally do this. Or if it's one of the forum heavyweights butting heads with another. You know that's going to be good. |

I give up half way through those because neither backs down and it ends up like reading a novel |

Depends on the thread and how long it is. If it's a long one, I'll read the first few and skip to the end.
This one I read most of them.
Threads looking for suggestions or jokes I'll usually read all they way through to make sure I'm not repeating what someone else has already said. (Not always though ) |

I know right! I'm all for seeing who you can reply to, but sometimes it just gets ridiculous |

Depends on:
- how engaging the thread is
- whether the actual content gets buried in the wall-of-text quotes Fab's medieval level of function lumbers us with
- whether the conversation descends into emojis, which I don't understand. |
