How seriously do you take the Forum ?
Do you take everything here with several pinches of salt and a wry smile, or do you mostly believe what you read and react accordingly?

Some threads are serious and some can be very entertaining, it all makes interesting reading.
I never take anything to heart on Fab, be it forums posts or private messages. I don't think it's mentally healthy for anyone to take this place too seriously. |

I couldn't agree more about the mental health aspect and I hate seeing people feel low or left out because of their Forum experience. But then am I taking their posts too seriously ?  |

I don't take it too seriously but there are days where I roll my eyes at a lot of the threads and those are the days I just log off and browse Reddit instead  |

I take the way people behave towards others seriously.
Have seen a ethical thread lately. If you saw someone, someone you fancied , or fab friends behaving badly, openly or underhandedly. Would you call them out or say nothing, even maybe have a giggle?

I'm sure that's the best approach but I still get drawn in sometimes and get sad or pissed off at some comments."
Most people do at some point or other - I very rarely get pissed off any more, like maybe once a year? But yes, nobody is without emotions. It's hard not to sometimes - I feel sad for people who get bullied or feel like they're excluded.
As far as taking it seriously goes? I don't know. That question could be interpreted in many ways! I see it as being like a theatre, where we're all but players donning different masks, appearing and reappearing in Acts. So I try and not read too much into it and enjoy the show. |

I mostly take it with a pinch of salt, especially over on the swinger’s chat, where it’s clear many guys are full of shit (yeah, I’m sure that what you’re talking about really happened  ) and are just looking for wank fodder.
I do think many on here seem really nice though. |

I always assume everyone is taking the piss and dont take it at all seriously. The forum has quite a dark dry humour at times that I like. Unless its obvious its a serious thread then I will be good and serious. |

Depends. Majority of the time I don't take the forums seriously, however it's not nice to see the nastiness that is aimed at people, and it's horrible when the bandwagon rolls out the sheeple behaviours...

A bucket of salt is always handy. As with life this place has all the characters, not everyone will get on, some you can tolerate and others not one bit, you become blind to their presence.
I don’t take anyone seriously unless it is obviously a serious thread topic, but even then there are some you think, really ?!

A drum of salt tbh , l do believe that if anyone gets all hot and bothered and worked up about the forums they shouldn't be on them..this whole joint should be all about fun for people and no one should try to ruin or destroy that for others , forums are only peoples thoughts and opinions and should be respected even if you don't agree with them, so that's what l try to do ..read them ..give my tuppence worth and that's it . |

About as serious as life! Try to be the same person in anything I do.....which includes being 90% sarcastic, trying to have a bit of a laugh and being nice with the odd serious moment thrown in there when needed!
You only get one life dont take it too seriously & enjoy the time with the people around you who you care alot about |

Thanks for all the posts. I didn't think this thread needed lots of my replies but I'm pleased most people enjoy their Forum with lashings of salt and only occasional vinegar. |
