"Misfiring of a prop gun?
How does that happen? "
I just listened to an interview of a filmset armour guy ( can't remember the proper job title) and he is completely baffled as to how it happened. The projectile went through one, killing her, and hit someone behind her. |

Wtf? That’s crazy. Who gets in trouble for this? A woman’s lost her life, they can’t just write this off |

Someone has the role in f prepping the weapons on the set before the actor is given it. So I guess it will be that person. Unless Baldwin swapped out the prop for a real gun |

Damn. Feeling for him right now. I bet that would ruin you mentally knowing you pulled the trigger. And obviously the woman who passed and her family + friends |

Away for Christmas |
If the two victims had guns this wouldn't have happened!
Somebody on set clearly thought it was time to do a copycat of the Brandon Lee incident. Likely a sick individual swapped the prop at the last possible chance. Usually, because of Brandon, these things are checked all the time to ensure safety. |

" The brandon lee incident wasn't even a bullet that killed him, it was some debris in the barrel propelled out by the blank round.
Maybe they need to stop using actual guns that have been fired. Surely with todays tech they can create a gun that doesn't need blanks but still looks legit. Afterall, isnt most of the sound added post filming? |

Seems crazy this could happen with all the checks in place. Why even have a gun that can fire if it’s a prop, with all of today’s technology they can surely add any necessary sound needed during editing |
