Do you smoke?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I do not smoke.
I would be put off by a smoker for 'close' stuff... like sex.
BUT ..... here's the odd bit
My 'friend' has always smoked and it's a smell I associate with him and it doesn't put me off.....
So ... weird. |

I don't. And it does.
Although, if I've had a drink I'm not completely put off as long as they haven't got a strong smell of tobacco seeping out their mouths. |

Away for Christmas |
Never have, never will.
The only off putting thing about a smoker is more about how they deal and manage with the negatives that affect others. How often they smoke, do they smell and taste of smoke etc
So I guess yes in a way, but the act of smoking itself is not an automatic deal breaker. |

I do but it's not the be all end all, so if I meet someone who doesn't I'll happily not.
I think it can be a real sexy thing but It could put me off. It really pisses me off when people stand there in the doorways of pubs like they just can't wait while they walk another few feet. I think thats the lack of respect for others though. That just puts me off in life. If that makes sense? Because I know it's not nice for non smokers
Maybe I'm just a contradiction |

"Loads have won’t meet smokers on their profiles yet they still message! It’s one of the things look for on a profile when I get a message. Then they wonder why they don’t get a reply "
I actually didn’t realise that was on my profile until someone messaged me asking why I wouldn’t meet smokers |

I met an American woman some years ago in a pub. She was a smoker but had cleaned her teeth so it was not obvious. When I went down on her later her pussy tasted of smoke. It was strange and not very pleasant but my cock was rampant so I took one for him and we had a nice time. I did not say anything about it. |

Inked smokes, i dont.
He never smells of smoke(smokes tobacco which seems to not smell as harsh), hes always armed with mints to freshen his breath and he does limit the amount he smokes if we are on a meet

We both smoke but would Never smoke if someone asked us not to x we are incredibly respectful of others x
We don't smoke in our house, we both don't like the smell of lingering/stale smoke x
We get that people don't like it but we don't like being assumed that we stink like an ashtray lol x
Barely met any smokers on here yet tho

"We both smoke and it's surprising the messages we get from people that "Won't meet smokers"
Seems like it's not just guys that don't read profiles."
Exactly this, I usually reply saying you are aware we smoke right??? Hahaha x |

I am 10 years smoke free this year
The smell and taste puts me off, but I have met occasional smokers who don't smell and taste of cigarettes, it all depends on how desperate they are for a fag close to our meet, rushing off for a fag is distasteful for me |

Snap! 10 years next month. Congratulations, us!
I avoid smokers because of the smell. |

I don't smoke and it generally doesn't put me off until this time of year. I'm not sure if this is a "me" thing, however when people go outside for a cigarette and it is cold and damp, the smell of smoke seems to be amplified and really unpleasant when they return indoors. It is not the same in the drier warmer months.
Anyone else notice this or is it a me? |

It's definitely a thing.
I do smoke and get proper paranoid about the smell in the colder damper months. It 100% clings to clothes more.
I take no offence to those who don't wish to meet smokers, I totally understand it. |

I smoke and am honest about it.
Not at all offended if someone doesn’t want to meet me because of that I completely understand it can be off putting
If I’m meeting someone new I won’t smoke beforehand and will then ask if they mind if I smoke. If they say no I’m happy to refrain from smoking during the meet but probably wouldn’t meet them again unless they were totally worth it
I find in clubs, the smokers area tends to be the most chatty area of the club! |

I used to, and I've never had anybody say that they wouldn't meet me because of it. I was always considerate though and wouldn't smoke on a meet unless I knew they were okay with it.
It's never put me off of anybody that I was otherwise interested in either. And I've had some great conversations in the smoking area at socials |

I don't smoke and it pisses me off when some people walk in front of me smoking and sending the smoke back to my face. For swinging purposes, it doesn't matter as long as I don't smell anything. But for long term relationships, it is a deal breaker. |
