Talking of swearing, last week I admonished a younger work colleague for her frequent use of profanities in the office.
Since then I have realised how often I drop the F-bomb and lob a C- grenade (frequently in tandem) at other road users when I'm driving, and even when cycling!
However, in my defence there do seem to be a lot more F-bombing C-grenades on the road than there used to be. |

I'd say it here. I'd never say it in work. I'd never say it in the supermarket. I'd never say it when buying tickets online. I'd never say it to my Gran! My children or in my home at all. None of my circle use the word except one or two if we are on a one to one. I never hear it on T.V. though it' s crept in once or twice.
So O.P. You are right ..... CUNT is only a word you hear in very small, close knit circles where the person you are saying it to knows it's not you.
Comedians use it.....
Criminals......
Maybe the S.A.S ......
You wouldn't use it to someone you'd just met or a person you've just messaged for the first time......
Right ...... that's it.
No you can't use the word cunt freely..... and probably don't. |

Only time you should ever really be offended if you're simply described as "a cunt" with no accompanying adjective.

It would appear yes you can say it here however … according to my 5 day ban that ended yesterday you CANNOT call a person one on the forum. Even if they called another person fat and ugly and you defended that lady. Apparently that would be classed as bullying.  |
