There was actually a pub in King Street, Weymouth, in which I believe madam Cynthia Payne had a financial interest. It was basically a shrine to prostitution, but done in the best possible taste, with newspaper articles of sex scandals over the years, each framed, and on the wall, as well as features like two rowing boat oars propt against the wall with a plaquared on them reading, "Two old oars standing in the corner."
The pub was called, "The Dog House" |
