Went on one once. Despised the entire experience. Wasn't made any better by my husband forgetting he was on a tandem and getting off it the way he would his normal bike - and kicking me in the face  |

I used to ride a tandem bike for a few years, after I got taken out by a car when I was about 7. My dad felt guilty for me getting injured, so woukdn't let me out on the road alone. |

Try looking for a face to face tandem, just make sure one of you looks where you are going. |
