The tiredness affected my sex drive rather than the menopause itself.
I also have the added complications of thyroid problems that took a bit of settling down.
Now on HRT and I'm feeling better than I have for years. No more hot flushes either. |

I only suffer with hot flushes now day and night. Can be a pain in the daytime. As far as sex goes I'm wetter than ever and hornier and wanting it as much if not more than I did in my 20s.. |

I'm just beginning. My libido is off the scale and has been for a while.. More than in my 30s for sure. I've always been very sexual and sensual.
The difficulty is that my periods are all over the place and sometimes extended. It's hard to manage but it doesn't affect my capacity for pleasure and sex.
I have an understanding partner who isn't phased which very much helps and I'm very appreciative of that! My body and mind are still responding to and eminating desire!!
It doesnt make me want to pursue new connections much though, unless they are mature and deep enough to be able to flow with the realness of me in this phase of my life.
It scares me to think of losing my want for sexual connection and adventure... But the realms of pleasure and intimacy are there to be experienced and explored.. I won't be giving up that anytime soon.
Sending love to us women and our cycles.
Let's keep talking about it. It's good for us all! Thanks for asking OP |

To be fair other than the usual symptoms it’s been ok. My sex drive has gone up and I find parts of my body are way more sensitive. Although where I used to get very wet (TMI SORRY) before I don’t as much as I did so a little lubricant is helpful although I’m still as excitable lol |

"I’m on hrt and mines very high. Just the brain fog and fatigue that’s annoying x
Not helped with HRT? "
No, but I’m happy enough that it stopped the night sweats. My fatigue is getting better due to vitamin injections, and new vitamin regime x |

I was lucky as it never really affected me at all. Never had a flush, never put on weight and didn't lose my sex drive. I did suffer very heavy bleeding which was sorted out by having a coil fitted. |
