Love them but are they a recent thing? I don’t remember them being about during my childhood. Mind you, that was a long time ago!

I discovered these a few years back and I love them. They go in lunch boxes and come along on picnics. Great way to jazz up a cheese sandwich. I even had one with ice cream in a restaurant once!

Brioche bums are lovely when lightly toasted with a burger.

I can’t stand them , bread is not meant to be sweet , burgers or sausages don’t go in them it’s just too odd ,

I wouldn’t say they are recent? I remember buying them often 10 years ago

Came here to say this. It's getting to the point where it's difficult to find a decent burger that's *not* served on brioche. One of the reasons that my favourite burger place is my favourite burger place is they still use proper buns.

Aldi did some brioche bagels last year which were brilliant with salmon and cream cheese. When I asked where they went, they said it was a Christmas only item

That sounds sooo good. I saw a loft of slice brioche somewhere but I couldn’t remember where and now it’s driving me nuts!
