I have been all weekend actually and with Virgin too, it’s been a really week signal. I reset the hub earlier which has helped a bit but still not perfect. Glad it’s not just me having problems anyway. |

Luckily my fire stick seems to be able to handle weak reception so that’s been working fine but I was watching porn on my iPad last night and it kept freezing which was annoying.....I ended wanking without any porn for the first time in a long while. Hopefully it works better for tonight’s pre sleep wank. |

Call 150 and when they finally answer..... listen to all the info they tell you that you don't want to know. Then listen while they tell you how to unplug it and plug it back in .... Then listen while they give you 6 options to choose from. Then relisten cos it's so fucking ambiguous and you don't know whether to press 2 for broadband for 4 for phone or 6 to speak to someone. Then listen to the advice about looking stuff up online at www. etc..... get fucking fed up of the muzac...... Go online .. press help .... get stupid fucking information that you have NO Interest in. Keep clicking the x on the ads that you don't want to buy from them... Get fucking apopleptic that there is an offer for newbies that's less than HALF of what you pay but you can't have it cos you are loyal ... start looking at other companies and scream that you are being ripped off and given bad service...... Realise it's back on , leap at your computer and forget everything like someone is stroking you like a bunny ..... |

Extenders are generally rubbish.
I use the netgear Orbi system, installed several in friends and family houses with problems and never had to go back. Happy to chat to anyone directly or if not too far have a look. It’s a minefield out there |

Hard wiring is always the most reliable, keep in mind some wifi systems don’t always allow connections between wired and wifi (broadcasts)… im a techy so please feel free to send a boring emoji I won’t be offended |

Another bit of useful info. To work out if it’s your wifi or internet playing up
Press windows key
Type cmd press enter
Type ping 8.8.8.8 -t
Do this on a wired device, what this does is ping continuously a server on the internet, if you get continuous responses then your internet is fine and it’s just your wifi playing up |
