This one.

The 21st century is a lot better for women, no way I would want to live in any era before the 1980s as an adult.

Elizabethan London. The early stirrings of the modern world, literary geniuses at work, a dangerous but thrilling time to be in England.

We're probably best now but I would have loved to experience the 1960s swinging 60s. Not for swinging but the fashion, the vibe etc

In Anglo Saxon times (730 ad) men and women were equal status, and very little gender discrimination as to jobs.

For me too.

A very high degree of bodily autonomy, the ability to earn, keep and manage my own money, the ability to hold property in my own name, access to a good education, ready access to birth control and a pretty damned good life expectancy.

Things aren't perfect, but they're certainly better right now for me than they would've been in any historical period.

Wirral.

Most of the periods I have interest in (Dark Ages to Middle Ages) would have been pretty shite for females, whether rich or poor. So I'd have to go with my third choice - Roman era. Though I'd have to have been part of the Patrician class. The female head of the household, although never equal to her husband/father, was accorded respect & status. X

Not true for the "upper classes" in Britain. The female was still owned by her father & then by her husband. X
