Firstly, yes I’m back…
But as it’s tv based post by the op, there are several in my opinion that deserve mentioning..

I’d say banacek but he was an insurance investigator, worth a mention though..
Sherlock was indeed good (BC).
Van Der Valk original tv series..
Shetland is ok tbh
Then there are some others already mentioned…
But, how about “The Detectives”??

I think I caught the very last one of those. He was dying but ended up turning murderer himself. I was shocked  He probably only killed the baddie anyway, but still shocking  |
