"Has anyone else gone through a long period where they felt bored of sex? "
Personally l think if a person gets bored of sex either partner is wrong for the other , yes l get all the " life events " etc that happen .. absolutely..but they should never make people get bored of it ..yes maybe unable to have it etc at that particular time ..but never bored of it ..if you get bored it's the wrong scenario between the two people. |

being pregnant made me ill, so it wasn't great during those times
recovering from surgery and menopause followed so there were times I felt uninterested.
Grief, moving house and changing jobs has affected me negatively at times in my life.
Might be worth talking to the gp to find out if there is anything that would help OP?

Low testosterone levels, antidepressants and other things like stress can put a dampener on things too.  |

It did get a bit bored in my long relationship with it yes. It was a chore almost, but I can blame myself for that really for not saying hamg on this is shit. There was more at problem than just the sex though so was a pick your battles thing. I am a bit bored at not getting much sex at all now though, but could see how with some kinks dare I say I could also get bored if it was all a person ever wanted. I should take up knitting  |
