How funny are you? And what kind of humour do you have?
I think I’m hilarious and my humour isn’t cryptic or overly complicated. To the point, sometimes too rude but hey. At least I’m honest with what goes through my mind and can be a bit meanie (Sometimes I should so reel it in)
People seem to enjoy my sense of humour
Anyway, tell me more about yours and if you feel like someone on here makes you laugh, do say so! X there’s a few of you who do make me laugh loads!!!
Drama free for example was one (god rest his Scottish soul - ps: he ain’t dead he’s just not on fab) who really made me giggle like a little girl!  |

I wouldn't say I'm funny but my type of humour is filthy, I can twist things into something dark and dirty. I'm not afraid to give back as good as I get |

I've done a bit of stand up about 10 years ago and performed with Tim Vine once. I'm friends with a number of reasonably well known comedians, and I helped to run a comedy club in Birmingham for a bit. Humour is often difficult to translate into a forum post though. |

I like to think I'm funny, can be quite dark though, at times, but also like silly humour. Can be quick off the mark at times, but usually lack the wit needed.
I also use humour as a coping mechanism when shit hits the fan, which I find very useful. |

Not even remotely but I amuse myself. In my head I'm quite witty, dry humour that whooshes over the head of the common folk. In reality I'm the forced chuckle that comes about because it'd be awkward not to laugh. |

I’ve been scared for eternity by one of my best friend’s dad. I remember we’d be stuck in his car and he’d tell us literally the worst dad jokes on the planet… firing one after the other… Me and my friend would have happily jumped out the car if we could have!

I used to be funny and my friends always praised me for that. Most of it self deprecatory or taking the piss out of my friends. But at some point of time, I lost that. Maybe two years being part of a terrible relationship sucked the humour out of me.
I still like the company of and laugh with humorous people. But I myself lost humorous touch which I am working hard to regain. |

Mr is hilarious and has me heartedly laughing every single day.
It's just the things he says and how he says them. All unintentional and not trying to be humourful but he is. The best thing is he doesn't even realise how funny he is as it's all just totally natural, and that's the best kind of humour there is. |

I think that I’m dry, quick witted and sarcastic but also have an incongruous streak that makes abstract connections which I find funny. I also like word play.

In my native language (Spanish) I can be really dry, dark, quick witted ... people are scared of me sometimes but they can’t stay away from me! I am never hurtful though.
In English, despite being bilingual most of my life- a completely different humour/persona comes out- I am bubbly, cute and my sense of humour is sweet and giggly.
It’s like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde!

I don’t think you can accurately gauge if you are funny yourself, its based on other peoples reactions and feedback.
There have been moments where I thought I had been witty, only to find out someone didn’t take well to what I said. |

I like to twist words to give them a different meaning, I’m not that funny though.
A few years ago I said to my late wife “ shall we go to a comedy club at the weekend “
She sat me down and said “ you’re not funny enough to go on stage”
I was meaning to go as customers not as a stand up. |

I got my sense of humour from an early age watching sitcoms deemed more for 'adults'. I enjoyed Fawlty Towers, Porridge, The Two Ronnies, Going Straight, Ain't Half Hot Mum etc. Moved onto 'alternative' like Rik Mayall, The Young Ones, Bottom. Peep Show is a more recent favourite of mine. |

I know some people hate my humour, especially on here as I've had a good few messages to let me know, but it doesn't bother me as I know I'm not for everyone. I'm just glad there's people who see the funny side of the things I say. I am number 2 top forumite for a reason.  |
