"I did 4 weeks of nights. Had a week off and still in night mode "
My sympathies, I used to a security job that had a fast turnaround between night and day shifts. Wasn't unusual for me to go to work with little to no sleep. |

I thought we were done with nights but looks like another 8 weeks. I prefer them, just not being awake all night when off! |

A very former employer of mine thought that 24 hours off between 8 night shifts and then moving onto day shifts was fine. I was so exhausted, I ended up with a migraine.
Don't work for him anymore, but still get insomnia. |

Last night was my first full night's sleep in over a fortnight, not been able to sleep due to health worries. Thankfully all OK.
Stay away from Dr Google it just makes your worrying worse. |

I have health anxiety so I feel your pain! Glad everything is ok and you managed to get some rest at last x |

"So you actually got some sleep! When I suffered I was awake right through the night. Wouldn’t wish it on anyone "
Got to sleep at six, woke at ten and couldn't fall asleep again. Got up and had something to eat, started falling asleep as I was eating it.
Not fun. |

"I hear ya,
I'm a nightshift worker
On days off, but I was sat up at 3 am reading
It's a killer isn't it
"
What gets me is that I can't do a lot of the things that I want to do, as I'm too exhausted during the day, but come night time and my body wants me to stay awake. |
