Garages are a bit expensive I guess

I took my car to a garage today, and I had to pay hell amount of money.

Why is it £500 to had your oil changed? Also they even did not ask me to renew air for my tires but they had me pay them £250 for the premium air for the tires. I mean normal air was good enough, who the hell need premium air in their tires anyway. Dont get it. To be honest I am little bit disappointed.

On the other hand, service was good, they gave me coffee and they were smiling all the time and everything. But, I believe it is damn expensive.

I’m sure that there is hidden meaning or maybe even humour in your thread op but I must hold my hands up and admit a complete whoosh moment here.

Is the garage equipped with an large telescope in the forecourt?

you could always sell the car or downgrade.

Our car x 2 one a big, well respected sUV and another is a german 2 door car the servicing is sky high and I'm not happy with that but it is us that enjoy the cars but you are right, garges especially main dealers charge a lot

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

I took my 4x4 for a service this morning. Oil & oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, pollen filter, topped up screenwash, serviced the DPF system and fitted a new keyfob battery all for £195 + vat.

I'm happy with that.

It's Nitrogen in the tyres not premium air and its never cost me that much to have it even when I've bought 4 x new tyres at the same time.

This is why you should always ask how much every part of the bill is going to be before you let any garage do work on your car.
