I try to hard to be funny, I'm too aloof and I don't care as much as I should about the feelings of people I don't really know.
I'd love to be a positive person but the cynic in me wins out every time. I'm deeply suspicious of overly positive people and think they're a bit dull.
Which is an awful attitude to have. |

I speak my truth as I see it and I don't shy away from it. If it's all in the open nobody can use my past against me. So when I speak in the forum I think others can sometimes relate to my experiences. But it can make me a bit argumentative if someone tries to dismiss what I'm saying as it's something I've lived through.
I need to be less serious on here, as I rarely show that side of me on here. |

I can be moody. My forum posts are usually a reflection of that mood.
I’m not at all sociable, I like to be left alone more often than not.
Fairly laidback about getting a shag these days as deep down I’m not sure I can again go through the faff of being sociable to a fella who’s only meeting me cos he wants his plums sucked.

Thoughts about myself is that I don't take life (or fab) too seriously. Others have messaged me to comment on my pretty relaxed demeanour so I guess I "reach" their expectations although I'm not here to please anybody.
People comment in the real world about my relaxed attitude to life too, I avoid the drama because it doesn't appeal to me.
I offer a friendly (maybe scary) face to talk to and possibly the odd sexy picture here and there if you're really feeling down in the dumps  |

I’m difficult. I have walls and spikes that few get past. Those that do know I’m soft as anything underneath. I will not lie to curry favour and expect the same of everyone around me. I never mean to hurt or upset by my words but am aware my blunt nature could be misinterpreted. I’m just dark and dry.
I love fiercely and will do anything for those in my circle. But if you show me lack of respect that will hurt and I will cut you off for my own self preservation.

I’m currently unsure.
I try to show the whole me, warts and all, sometimes I succeed, other times I only show aspects of myself.
I’m still trying to find my way back to myself and come across as grumpy or morose as one message put it!
I don’t pretend to be something that I’m not though.

In Forum it's a semi persona. I never share anything too personal or if I'm down. That's private. I hope I offer the Forum some positive vibes as that's what I get from it most of the time.
Off Forum I quite like my personality and dislike most things about my appearance, but not in a self loathing way. I'm a good friend, decent company and a mediocre shag. |

I tend to be blunt or direct, most don't know how to take to me till they get used to me. I'm very open about all aspects of my life, there's a reason for it and I'd stand by that reason forever regardless of what people think. I'm honest and expect the same. If I'm lied to I will cut them off.
Besides that I'm softer than most people care to think and have a free spirited fun side once you get to know me. I tend to be very self aware and think I show an awareness of others and their feelings. Though I'm well aware how I perceive myself is probably very different to how people actually see me. |

I am a passionate + positive person. I've had a lot of disappointment in life, so I've learned to be completely self-reliant and i'm very hard to get to know on a deeper level..
I'm very pragmatic and resilient and I'm a keeper of secrets and confidences. People find me trustworthy and often confess /tell me things they've never told anyone else.. I think it is because i do not judge
My humour is ?dry and sarcastic..And also off the scale bonkers.. My mission in life is to make others laugh
My thought process is quick and decisive - i get irritated when others struggle to keep up..
I'm able to move on as quickly as i breezed in.. But sometimes i don't allow enough time for people to show me who they are

Found this harder than I initially thought I would....
I'm a very cynical person and find it hard to take many things at face value, always think someone has an angle and can't just want me for me. Although a rather beautiful young lady has recently challenged this thinking.
I use sarcasm far too much, probably as defence mechanism, think that started at school through being quite badly bullied.
I think the real me has been buried too deep and for too long and not sure it'll ever surface again.

Often times my opinions on more serious matters run contrary to most as I certainly lean conservative but can agree to disagree with others.
I despise drama and give it a wide berth when possible but will confront it when there's no alternative.
I don't bring much to the forums nowadays besides the odd post and in the past my sketch threads were well received |

I’m an easy going person, I dip in and out of the forums as I tend to avoid the drama seeking threads/people.
A lot of the times my views are ignored or bypassed but I guess that’s down to not having strong enough views on certain subjects. Plus I’m not an opinionated person…I’m happy to be swayed by others thoughts.
We are here to form friendships with likeminded people so the forums are good to get a good understanding of what people are about and their views.
I’m happy with my/our FAB journey and interactions

I got given a work evaluation and also a job reference recently. I dont think I can live up to the idea that people seem to hold of me. I know things get embellished for references etc. I would always rather be played down and overdeliver than to dissapoint or not match expectations. I know I can do things, but dont like the pressure of being thought of being capable.
I like to waffle away on here, just let your thoughts ramble out. In real life I am more of a watcher in conversations and will stand back. |

I overthink things a lot instead letting things flow naturally because I'm so consumed with making the right choice first time.
I reflect a lot on what I can offer others and always come up blank because aside from work and going to the gym, I don't really allow myself much time to be better at offering things to others.
My mood fluctuates from annoyed, to cheerful, to just existing and I wish I could be better at not letting little things get to me if they aren't perfect or aren't in the right conditions that I want.
But there are positives. I have a stable career and loving family, I don't want for anything and I live comfortably. I have a full bill of health and can eat what I want and watch TV when I want to relax.
But yet, something just feels empty empty and not enough and I wish I could know how how to fulfil that sooner knowing that I have a long life ahead of me... |

I reflect a lot on what I can offer others and always come up blank because aside from work and going to the gym, I don't really allow myself much time to be better at offering things to others.
My mood fluctuates from annoyed, to cheerful, to just existing and I wish I could be better at not letting little things get to me if they aren't perfect or aren't in the right conditions that I want.
But there are positives. I have a stable career and loving family, I don't want for anything and I live comfortably. I have a full bill of health and can eat what I want and watch TV when I want to relax.
But yet, something just feels empty empty and not enough and I wish I could know how how to fulfil that sooner knowing that I have a long life ahead of me..."
That was very eloquent. I like how men share on Fab the way they may not elsewhere.

I'm pretty sure that lovely, however I lack confidence a lot of the time.
I give good advice, I tend to be quite blunt at times but I do that in real life too.

Thank you, I tend not to be that open about how I feel as people try to offer you solutions instead of just letting things be.

I've been musing on this all day but haven't had a chance to put my thoughts together coherently.
My natural instinct is to be a fixer. I'm diplomatic, I look for the good in people, I try to help.
More recently I've come to see that that drive is as much about making myself feel good as it is about making others feel good. I don't think that's a bad thing, but it's been an interesting discovery.
These days on the forum I take more of a back seat. I'm still a diplomat and I still look for the good in people. I also enjoy a bit of flirting and witty wordplay, boosts the ego

All I can say granny is I try to be the best person I can for my kids and learn from mistakes. Don't trust many people in this day and age but hey how that's life one day of dreaming to win the lottery other than that just someone who works a lot of hours to make his kids happy. |

I’m a bit lost as to who I am as I feel sometimes I come across with a persona that’s not reflective of how I view me - I’m my own worst enemy and am really harsh with myself which I’m working on as I really do believe you have to love yourself as no one else owes you that. I struggle with doing so though. And am often very afraid. But I care very much about other people and I like that about myself. |
