I’m an antisocial bugger but occasionally I think ‘I’d love to have a coffee with so and so.. ‘

How many of you have someone fairly local that you’d love to just catch up with socially. Without any pressure or thoughts of anything more… same sex, opposite sex, make it a small group date… there are loads of us who live fairly local to each other that could easily make this happen. There are several fabbers who are part of my day to day life.

If this appeals post that you’re in and where you’re based and let’s get some dates in the diary!

I don't think there are really people local to me. I'm in Cheshire and would love to meet people up to maybe a hour away for coffee? It's nice to have a no pressure, honest environment to talk in and I love meeting others in this peculiar world.

I had a social meet with someone recently and it was really fun; we talked about life, about Fab and generally had a good laugh over some drinks.

If the meaning of life is making connections (Brené Brown says so) then doing socials is A Very Good Thing

Unfortunately Northern Ireland is a bit too far off the beaten track for most, so I guess that purely social meets will just have to continue to involve a flight or ferry

We had two socials on the same day recently, pretty much going from one to the next. Brunch with a couple of singles we have met, who are now a FAB couple and a gentleman who was not feeling great health wise and we met for a coffee and regale stories.

We love being sociable but the problem is getting us both available…we divide our time between Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

So one month Wolvo, another Telford, then Cov, Burton, Stratford, etc etc. They're all pretty close but might make it easier for some to attend if the venues changed now and again?
