Working from home has been great for me also - roll out of bed and to the desk… also I have a lover close by so makes lunches fun

Unfortunately for me I have to complete timesheet every day so no slacking for me.

I still prefer it over working from the office though.

I'm loving working from home, though I find I'm doing more hours, though they don't feel as hard

Working in the office, if you work late, have to add in the commute so you may not sit down and relax at the end of the day until an hour after you leave. I switch off at home, I'm already starting the relaxing time 5 seconds after and the house is already warm and tea may already be in the oven...

Same here.

Doing more overtime and saving alot on fuel which seems like a pay rise.

Also dont have to make packed lunches, can have a nice hot meal and watch netflix and football.

I am awful at working from home. Far too easily distracted.

I do believe I prefer working from him but wonder if it's doing harm on a subconscious level.

I like that I can crawl out of bed and make an 8:30 meeting now. saving money on fuel and work lunches and time on commuting.

on the flip side I miss driving and listening to music on my car and I find I work much more, don't really take a dedicated lunch break to get away from things and find I don't necessarily stop at finish time because it's all too easy to keep going as I don't have to drive home.

been in to the office a number of times and it's good to see people again so I plan a mix going forward of mainly at home but in the office once or twice a week maybe.

Each to their own tho

Usually have to work half a day from home on a Friday. I work at best an hour of that half a day....not productive at all. Just can't seem to get into the mind frame.

Plus I need to go buy a computer monitor. As the laptop screen is too tiny for what I need. With several screens open.

I've never had the option of wfh so I've no idea what it's like. I know some people who love it because they don't have to commute but also because they find they get so much more done without work colleagues stopping by their desk for a chat or needing something done.

Others however were missing that social interaction and are happy to be back in the office.
