Even with a clean bill of health I would still opt for the safe sex option as accidents can still happen and also I wouldn't feel comfortable barebacking another man's partner plus I still like to protect my own equipment even if said person was all cleared |

I think maybe you are trying to say if you as a couple being together for years knew another couple who has also been together for years then I can understand maybe you could all play bear back if you can trust there not going bear back with anyone else
I would be afraid to go bear back personally unless above or very trusted partner |

even if the almighty Morgan Freeman came down from on high, and explicitly told me the person im about to have sex with, is completely clean of all things awful, and i'll come out the other side just as disease-free as i am now, also sans fetus....
i would still use protection! 
safe swinging for me. only bareback with my partner.

Think you should do as you want you will not get an even-handed split in the forum people not wanting to damage their chance.
But if everything was 100% safe of course, the vast majority of people would prefer sex without. |

I am a single male. I do not have bareback sex. Wearing a condom is such a small, insignificant thing that has such massive positive benefits. To my mind, the question should be "Why would anyone ever go bareback if they weren't expressly trying for kids or an STI?" |

Precisely this. No test can guarantee a person is disease free because the results aren't instantaneous. They'd have taken the test maybe a week ago, and given they're a lover of bareback, they could have had unprotected sex since that test and picked something up. The only way to guarantee it is to be able to trust that they haven't, and trust isn't quickly earned for me. |

There is 2 weeks of incubation period for STIs so doesn’t really matter if their test results shows clean for the time of the event. I only accept the possibility if I’m regular with one specific person/couple after sometime which is still a risk but it’s trackable if something comes up unexpectedly. |

Single male here and I still wouldn't. I don't feel a big difference between sex with and without condoms. So the minor risk(in spite of health checks) is still not worth it. |

At the end of the day we're all adults here. We are fully entitled to make our own decisions. I myself have gone bare a few times with women from here and I'm not ashamed to admit it neither. That being said, I also play safe. It's made into such a Taboo subject on here when it shouldn't be because it's a natural thing. I've met with people on here that swear by playing safe but when it comes down to having sex they try and go bare in the heat of the moment so there can be double standards all over the site. |

No because tests are only a negative on the day it was taken. Also contraceptives do sometimes fail, and it's generally easier to know when a condom has failed. And to be honest it's a trust issue and I'm a cynic at heart |

Absolutely would never consider it, a negative result doesn't cover everything that its possible to have or transmit.
I dont even consider meeting people who go bareback, and I get up and walk away in clubs if someone suggests not playing safe |

Durex thins should give the answer to everyones problems on here,can barely tell you have a condom on just make sure you try a few sizes out to get the most comfortable fit, no stds no pregnancy and lots of fun can't really see the down side. |

Safe sex yes...agree with vast majority. Though no one questions giving and receiving oral when STI’s are also transmitted this way hence the oral testing yet this is not questioned or considered. I know the risk is slightly lower but still present. |

See this is the problem with fabs alot of couples have no respect for single male and its quite sad actually..
I wouldn't go bareback ever unless it's with someone I'm dating. I know alot of friends single guys that won't go bareback as well |

Routine STI screening doesn't test for herpes or HPV. I'm mainly worried about the HPV and reducing my cervical cancer risk. There's also an incubation period with most STIs so it's possible for someone to have a recent negative test but still be infected if they test too soon after contracting it. For bactetial infections that's usually a few weeks. For viral infections like HIV that's up to 3 months. |

Yes it's possible to still transmit it when using a condom but they do help reduce the risk, especially from the male partner. There's no 100% way to guarantee anything apart from abstinence but we all weigh up our own risks and make our own decisions based on the information we have. |

I love bareback however it's reserved exclusively with my partner playtime involves condoms although if we had a regular exclusive couple we met who we knew well it could be a possibility down the line but only when trust had been built |

I’ve had a couple of club visits recently and was very naive ….I though people would bring condoms, or there would be condoms in bowels all around the place or something like that….NOPE! never seen a condom used yet in a club…with anyone. I was very surprised. |

That’s the opposite to our experience.
Most clubs keep them behind the bar. You just need to ask.
Though most do being them with them.
We found in clubs everyone is very safe. |

I’m both intrigued and frustrated with the whole bareback situation.
Intrigued firstly, as I decided about a year back to explore, and experience again the joys of what the element brings to sexual activity. My situation is that unfortunately we can’t have penetrative sex at home, so I seek and crave those that are open about their preferences.
What frustrates me is the constant uproar towards individuals that are open about what they want, and those that continue to hide behind fake interests list. If those that want condom free encounters want that, let us have our own fun, those that are safe only, fine too, but wanting bare and being open isn’t a sin, stating safe sex, but playing bare is, especially to those that only want safe.
I do feel the the site admin could address this by adding a few additional options to the interests list?

Condoms are an absolute ballache if your moving from F to F in a MFF situation …. But I’ve seen far to many medical notes and most have had an STi to ever risk it! |

I don’t really see the issue with playing bareback
I am sti checked every 4/5weeks & can prove my results are clear every time & I had a Vasectomy in 2018 with a picture copy of the letter on my phone with me sperm test results are negative meaning I am firing blanks |

I absolutely wouldn't go without a condom, even if they had a screening done on their way to meet me! That's something I'd only do in a committed relationship where we both used condoms with anyone else.
Each to their own, I know some will call me a hypocrite because I'm very happy to give and receive oral without protection, but everyone needs to judge situations according to their own risk profile. |

I met a couple once and a condom was insisted to be worn ( by them) After playing for a while the condom was mentioned. We stopped to put it on. After finally getting it on we started again but not long after I lost my erection as too tight, no feeling. They said get it off it doesn't matter and carried on without it. Just saying that, nothing set in stone. |
