Another high brow and thought provoking topic….
So do you fall into the sharing “lets get a variety and we can all share” camp or “i ordered that dish it is mine” camp?

Mine goes like this.....
But you said you wanted that, only that. You said you didn't want what I was having so I ordered the small one. If you were going to want some of mine I would have got the big one but you said you didn't. Yes I know it looks good but I only have the small one and no, I don't want any of yours.
And everytime she takes half of mine, EVERYTIME!!!! |

"Nah, I'm more than happy with my own dish because I know I like it. If you think you're getting any of mine then tough tattas "
I take food from peoples plates. Absolutely shameless about it as well. |

"I believe Joey Tribbiani said it best..."
JOEY DOESN'T SHARE FOOD!!!
With takeaway and you get a few things of course it's fine to share.
What I HATE though is when someone reaches over the table and takes something off my plate! |

I can just imagine the slow reach to their plate and the look of absolute betrayal on their face |

They chose not to share. Meal times with me is kind of like the game show Golden Balls. There’s a choice to split or steal. Either way I’m taking at least half. |

Definitely for sharing that’s the best part a little bit of everything, even on my own I still order enough for four as like the variety, eat over a couple of days.
Unless it’s fish & chips, you have yours and I’ll have mine. |

I'm very much a "I've ordered my dish, back the fuck off it" kinda person. It's hard being veggie, usually everyone else is a meat eater so they help themselves to my dish and then I have nothing to eat! |

Oh we love to share and we always do because variety is awesome right? But there is also an unsaid understanding and repect with regards each others chosen favourite. Which mean we only tend to take a bit of each others and mainly stick to our own. |

I tend to avoid takeaway, as I've a few food allergies.
Those invariably tend to mean the ingredients I cannot eat are contained within what everyone else wants.
EG, I can't eat Indian, Chinese, Thai, Mexican or foods with spices or peppers.
I've even found at Company related events such as Training Courses or Dinners, the menus chosen by colleague organisers haven't allowed for what I could or couldn't eat.
At one Awards Dinner (I was to receive an award too), I walked out as everyone sat down to a 4 Course dinner, after I found that the only menu option chosen for me was a Cheese Sandwich, nothing else!
I resigned the next day & told them where to shove the sandwich!! |

That's ridiculous of them and very unfair and discriminatory. |

The reason I choose something to eat is that's what I want to eat. The reason I choose not to eat something is that's not what I want to eat. Why would I give up part (or most) of what I wanted for something I didn't want?
I'll have mine, you have yours. If you lot want to share you go right ahead, but don't involve me.
I feel very strongly about this. It annoys the shit out of me when somebody expects me to join in the sharing dinners thing. Nowadays I just refuse. Luke |

simply order what you fancy eating and eat what you ordered (otherwise why go along and order something you don’t fancy eating), those sharing is caring kind need to be mindful of this to avoid any kind of accidents with fork and knives |

"Smithy, ( James Cordons character in Gavin and Stacey) summed the answer up perfectly to this question in a hilarious episode where Gavins family were ordering an Indian takeaway.
"
Had to google that, but you’re right that clip is hilarious! |

Share share share!! When it comes to food I’m totally into sharing and I get MAJORRR food envies so there’s me being a greedy betch wanting to try literally everything, even if it’s just a spoonful!
So yeah, I’d definitely want to share my food (I love sharing food but Im not good at sharing dick … go figure?!) |

I don't mind sharing as long as its an equal amount of stuff. If I don't like something or you don't I may be willing to trade you something but I hate it when someone takes more than their share. |
