Not the way to start the morning. Tea is the most overrated hot beverage known to man, tastes of nothing, its just stained hot water that adds nothing to the day. Never understood the fuss over it. |

Now now come on. If you have a quality tea bag, hot water and not have it too milky then it’s plenty flavoursome.
It won’t have you running to the loo or keep you away all night like coffee, but a nice cup of tea is like a hug in a mug.
It’s my ”go to” beverage when I’m upset. It makes everything ok. Well, almost. |

Loose tea leafs in a tea pot is the best. I have a glass tea pot with a metal mesh tube attached to the top, it stops most of the leaves going into the water. So much better than a tea bag, more effort but so worth it especially with Yorkshire tea, they do loose tea aswell |

You may-well be right from the flavour experience you’ve had from the brand of tea you buy and how you make...
However, there are myriad types of teas from all around the World and unless you’ve tried all of them you cannot make such a gross generalisation.
Definitely, worthwhile trying teas from around the World and you may soon well change your mind entirely.
My fav. is tea’s: Indian, Chinese and Vietnamese... |

"Maybe you just aren't making it right OP.
A nice cup of tea can work wonders. Although I do prefer coffee but tea is Avery good runner up."
I don't take out the tea bag in 30 seconds, I don't use much milk or sugar and it still tastes like nothingness to me. No matter who is making it, always the same. |

Tea is delicious, it’s comforting, delicious, soothing, it’s delicious, and also, coffee is vile."
Yes coffee is not nice. Tea is also not nice. I find a cold glass of water is much more soothing. |

If my future partner made me a cup of tea in the morning I would re-evaluate the relationship. |

Oh nothing better than a cup of tea in the morning.. ideally made by someone else & brought to me in bed.
Tea is soothing & just a warm cup of comfort..
I’ve tried the lemon in hot water and that is just sour hot water.. nothing like the elixir of tea! |

Totally agree. Fridge cold water is the best drink.
I can also manage a very occasional hot chocolate but find it makes me thirsty - so then I need a cold water

Hot chocolate and marsh-mellows is for kids.
Quality tea (not the tea bag kind, but loose tea) and coffee is for adults.
Sorry, only kidding (couldn’t resist being cheeky). I deserve a good spanking I know.
I also, like hot chocolate (without the mm’s) |

Also, you must never have had an argument or currently have ongoing arguments because they are only resolved with a cuppa. The person who is in the wrong always makes the other a tea to break the deadlock. The simple one word question of "tea?" is the beginning to the end and the passing of the tea is the act of apology and reconciliation. |
