I'm not the nervous type, to be honest, well, nerves as in stomach cramps and lettering speech, anyway. I tend to get more excited than nervous, which I guess is just a different expression of nerves? I just concentrate on being myself and keeping conversation flowing, and seeing if there's a decent connection |

"I still do, but they usually settle quite quickly after the initial hello phase. I find if I'm not excited or nervous to meet someone new then I'm probably not that into them. "
That’s a very good point xx shame you are in Ireland!!! |

"I think everyone gets a little nervous... I think if you don't then you might be a bit narcissistic... before meeting someone I say to myself if it doesn't work out then get pissed instead "
That’s an excellent recovery plan |

Whenever I meet someone I get nevers but nerves are fine tells you that you're stepping out your comfort zone. Life is only good when you leave the comfort zone I feel |

Exactly! If you ever get nervous I always say just go for it. Experience things then you'll know if it's good or bad after. |

Nerves are a good thing. If I don’t get nervous then I see it as a sign that I probably shouldn’t be meeting them.
As for calming them, a few deep breaths, remember that they’re probably nervous too and then put them out of my mind. After a couple of minutes, they’re gone.
