Today I have an internal examination of my cervix along with an up to date smear done due to irregular bleeding .
One thing that was picked up with the examination was that I have a large cervical polyps.
She has referred me to have it removed.
Anyone else had the procedure carried out ?

"Hope it all goes well for you OP
Thank you. I’ve been bleeding since the examination.
Will be pleased when it’s all sorted. "
That must be very stressful. I'm sure you can't wait for it to be sorted |

I've had it a few times over the last 15 years. The treatment was uncomfortable, but not too painful.
I have had no serious issues other than needing the treatment occasionally.
Hope everything is OK for you. X |

I had one removed in 2011, I stressed about it like mad but actually it was very quick and not painful.
I was back in work the next day and it did help with my horribly heavy periods.
Good luck OP, I hope yours goes equally well. |

I’ve had polyps removed a year ago , not sure they were cervical tho … that word wasn’t mentioned .
They were the cause of irregular bleeding, mostly during intercourse.
Still , fairly unpleasant , I went as far as describing it as savage at the time . But it’s quick and I’ve had no issue since.
The biopsy was clear.
