Log delivery arrived yesterday

Woodburner's chimney being swept tomorrow

Batch cooking today, fish pie, cottage pie, gholash and chili.

Looking forward to cold nights snuggled up next to the fire!

I refuse to accept that winter is here until I have attended the street fair in Ilkeston...so winter starts for me this year on 21st October!

I love the change in the colours of the trees in autumn. Its my fav season as well. I have read that your fav season is the one you were born in. Is this true for others?

Gosh we must have been lucky down south. Kestrels weekends have been hot and sunny August was spectacular and the weekend before last was three days .. I am really brown this year .

we will have a few more sunny days yet.
