"Well I still have the teddy that my Dad bought me the day I was born but I will be keeping it, not really the same as your post OP but I wanted to share it "
Didn't even think about stuff to save for sentimental value, Shame I can't edit the post |

unfortunately my parents have away my vast star wars collection which probably would have been worth something.
I have a box of subbutteo stuff tucked away.
keeping such thoughts in my mind for my son to keep certain toys I think are worth keeping. |

I have two wooden marionettes from when I was a child - one a Dutch girl and one a poodle. My kids played with them a little bit they’re kinda fragile so they’re safely boxed up again for now x |

We used to foster so as I outgrew toys they would be passed on to whoever was a more suitable age for them.
I have absolutely no childhood possessions now, but I can't think of any I loved enough to mind not keeping them. |

I never kept anything as its always been the thing in my family to pass on toys to your younger cousins or to charity.
The only thing I wished I kept were power rangers figures because the originals might be worth something and old games consoles. |

My Sega megadrive still in box with about 20 games all still in boxes. So it's 25 to 30 years old at this stage.
Also have a big box of old matchbox and dinky cars that were passed down through cousins and siblings until they stayed with me as I'm the youngest.
All of the above in my parents attic |
