Do you like creating new forum posts?
Do you write your reply without bothering much to read other people’s, then just look to see if anyone has replied to it?
Do you ignore the ones with too many replies as it’s too much to wade through?
Do you look for people you like the look of and comment on those posts?
Do you read everything in a post and try to interact with as much as you find interesting?
What’s your process? |

The forum is for sharing thoughts, information, making connections and finding others on your wavelength.
I try to post threads that do at least one of those things for as many people as possible |

The top and bottom of it is I love to talk to new people and you can get a sense of people through their forum posts or replies.
I always make time for anyone on here if they show the same level of respect as I do with them. (I'd hope those who I talk to regularly realise that too!) |

I don’t start many threads but reply when I feel it’s relevant.
I do like it when I actually get a response but I don’t think I’ve made the forum click yet |

pretty much, yes to all of that
I struggle to keep up with a thread most of the time (slooooow typer)! By the time I've written what I wanted to the thread's moved on and I'm catching up again! |

"I have a browse and join in with some threads. I do tend to read through all the replies. I very rarely start threads, although I do have a talent for killing them. "
Hey, me too. I never get a quoted reply…. But you just did! |

I hardly ever start a new thread.
I do post on a thread that interests me, makes me laugh or if I have an opinion on the subject. I also post to advertise myself a bit.
I like looking at the club events, see what's happening in Gran Canaria and enjoy the motorbike forum.
I do enjoy the forums it gives you a feel for people and I've made s friends through them.

I am feminist which calls out entitlement and misogyny in individuals.
But I am mainly an annoying bitch with an evil dark, really fucking dark sense of sarky humour.
Most dont read my posts.
Only those who throw their dummies oot the pram when called out read my posts and do their best to get me banded from the forums.

I like the serious, thought-provoking threads. Ones that cover all aspects of the human experience.
Earnest, deep and profound gems of discussion float my boat.
The light-hearted ones vaguely interest me, as humour is still part of the human experience, so discounting it in its entirety would be unnecessarily churlish.
The flirty threads hold no interest to me whatsoever, however. |

I read less posts of others through, unless the topic really interests me. Otherwise I'll post my tuppence worth and wander on. I'm shit at replying to people and I rarely maintain my own occasional threads. I tried it once and it was exhausting kudos to those inclusive people that work to reply to all! |

So yeah. I like to gather info from people and what they think about certain topics |

"Depends on the thread really. Get largely ignored though whilst the clique get instant replies or acknowledgements. So don't bother most of the time. "
Totally agree.
Except its the current clique not THE clique.
The cliques are evanescent and generally consist of lifelong 'friends' who have a falling out spat disappear and the new lot filter in.
Don't pay any heed |

Doesn't really bother me, can expect it really from long term forum users. All part and parcel of life whether online or real world |

I enjoy posting but I don't spend anywhere near as much time and energy as I used to on Fab (and the forums). I do read other replies, mainly because I get a bit when you post something and then someone else says the exact same thing (admittedly dumbed down a bit) and get the yay, you go Glen Coco responses.
I tend to stay away from some threads because they aren't natural fits for me and I don't find them particularly interesting (unless I'm dared to!).
I find it easier to interact with those who understand my posting style and sense of humour. When people don't it's painful so easier to avoid. I like threads that are inclusive and engaging, or the thinky ones.
I also enjoy people watching because it's fascinating watching the myriad of responses, even more so when there's cross thread references/"in" comments. |

And where you see the a
Same response which has clearly been discussed first and then posted with slight changes of language (maybe that's what you meant ) |

Yeah! It is. I understand people sometimes might repeat because honestly? A wall of text can be a looot to read. The peevish, bratty side of me will always bristle at the credit not going to the original artist but the crappy cover artist. |

I like to read through threads that I find interesting, I sometimes contribute. I join in the games at times. On occasion I've started one or two threads, but am not the best at responding to comments.
I do find that they are a good way to connect with people and get to know others. On the whole when I do post, try to keep it light hearted and funny, but lack the wit for that |

New to posting, but I like to keep it on topic. I can be a sucker for details, so I like these generic ones, otherwise I end up reading everyones POV and using up a lot of time |
