Has anyone noticed a biscuit/professional services correlation in their line of work ? (I don't mean Cynthia Payne offering a range of Peek Freans to her clientele, though that probably did happen). I'm talking about the more "professional" the occupation, the more likely their office is to have sequestered a seemingly-endless supply of biscuits, mostly for the perusal of their staff (and certain esteemed clients).
I've been in offices where they even have a "biscuit barrel" and it's the solemn weekly duty of some underling to maintain full and exciting occupancy of said receptacle with gluten and sugar- laiden treats. And woebetide any Tom, Dick or Harry who plunders "The Biscuit Barrel" without express permission from the most senior-ranked member of the office team (Read Secretary), for they shall earn the Wrath of The Office Beast and be cast in to the fiery-pit of no more chocolate digestives for you, sunshine.

We used to get a morning biscuit (different each day) gifted to us by our wonderful cleaning lady at work. She's been banned from handing out biccies since COVID though! Mr KC is the apple of her eye and he used to get preferential biscuits |

Hi just after a bit of advice please, my girlfriend broke up with me on the 5th of January this year I know she went out a lot and met guys it was her birthday around that time and she was partying a lot for it. She’s recently asked me to get back with her and says between then and now there was one guy and that was in June. I’ve been honest with her about what I got up to during our split but I’m sure she isn’t I’ve seen a message she sent to her sister on the 12th of January ( just after the split and her birthday) saying “ I’m in the clinic “ do you think this means what I do? |

"Hi just after a bit of advice please, my girlfriend broke up with me on the 5th of January this year I know she went out a lot and met guys it was her birthday around that time and she was partying a lot for it. She’s recently asked me to get back with her and says between then and now there was one guy and that was in June. I’ve been honest with her about what I got up to during our split but I’m sure she isn’t I’ve seen a message she sent to her sister on the 12th of January ( just after the split and her birthday) saying “ I’m in the clinic “ do you think this means what I do?"
